While most hotels cling to the beautiful moments spent on vacation, here are 10 hotels, in which delight and despair go hand in hand.

1. Chelsea Hotel, New York

Sid Vicious – Sex Pistols bass player stabbed to death his girlfriend Nancy 12th 10. 1978. in room number 100 Chelsea Hotel in New York. Less than a year later, Sid has also died of a heroin overdose.

4. Ambassador Hotel, Los Angeles

5. Shelton Hotel, Boston

Shelton Hotel is now called the Shelton Hall and the residence of students at Boston University.

6. Lorraine Motel, Memphis

Lorraine Motel is now the National Museum of Civil Rights .
In the room 306 on April fourth.1968 Th Martin Luther King was killed. Four years earlier Luter was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and 1977th won a posthumous Presidential Medal of Freedom.

7. Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Sydney


Michael Hutchins, lead singer of Australian band INXS died here. 8. Hôtel Ritz, Paris (France)

Fashion company founded by her is one of the largest in the world. Another style icon, Princess Diana, just before death was staying at this hotel. From there he went to the last ride, 08/31/1997.
