Mukesh Ambani To Be World’s Richest Man by 2014

Forbes magazine predicted that by 2014, the business tycoon of India, Mukesh Ambani, will be the richest man in the world.

Going by the forecast of Forbes magazine, Mukesh Ambani, chief of Reliance Industry, could be the richest man of the world, with a net worth of USD 62 billion.

The magazine maintained that, “One of the predictions is that Reliance Industries’ chief Ambani, who currently has a net worth of 29 billion dollars, pips the world’s richest man Mexican businessman Carlos Slim to top Forbes’ rich list in 2014.”

 At present, Mukesh Ambani stands fourth in Forbes’ list of the world’s billionaires.

Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industry Ltd. is India’s largest private sector conglomerate company by market value. Group’s annual revenues are in excess of US$ 44 billion.

The primary business of the company is petroleum refining and petrochemicals.
With more than 3 million shareholders, Reliance Industry it one of the world’s most widely held stocks.

They also have presence into garments (Vimal), Retail and others.
